Hi,

I moved from the Greenville district in SC (where I filed after living their for 2 years prior, and where I had my fingerprints) to Baltimore, MD.

I was put into line for Greenville on June 19. I filed for my address change 10 days after I moved, and received a new notice on July 7, saying I was put into line. I think the address change resulted in me having a new line date.

I called USCIS, and they said my file is with the NBC. I asked if it will be sent to Baltimore or Maryland, he said it should be Baltimore.

Has anyone had any experience in changing state midway through the process. If, after 90 days, I have not heard anything then I will approach my local state senator.

Before someone says you cant move during the process, that is not the case. USCIS instructions state you must be in the state you reside at the time of application for 90 days, which was Greenville. It allows for people to move.
