hey vj family.. i need help about some informations. my husband and i were to submit the packet for aos but just 3 days before sending the packets he got laid off from work. we have a joint sponsor and we are worried if our application will be denied. and we dont know what to put or change exactly on the affidavit of support form although for our joint sponsor i think we did the right thing with the form i-864.. plss need help

As long as your joint sponsor has the income to cover you, you will not get denied. I'm sure your husband is out there trying to get back to work, hopefully he'll have found work and have sufficient income before a possible interview is scheduled and he can rely on his own income. BTW only some people get called for interviews, most get the approval with no interview for a K-1.

I'm sure your husband is out there trying to get back to work, hopefully he'll have found work and have sufficient income before a possible interview is scheduled and he can rely on his own income. BTW only some people get called for interviews, most get the approval with no interview for a K-1.

hi thank you for the reply, so we will just submit the old pay stubs and tax transcripts but he wasnt able to get an employment certificate. yes he is tryin to find a job now.

Well you could, but you will have to admit he's currently out of work if asked. I did not send another employment letter when we adjusted status with my wife, just current pay stubs and we had no questions asked or interview. We actually sent very little evidence for the AOS. At least compared to my wife's removal of conditions application.

u were not called for an interview?nice.. well we just sent out the aos packet,on the affidavit of support form we put he is unemployed with the date too.. so just hoping for the best..

Hopefully that will all change before they get to adjudicating the case. No interview for my wife's AOS or her ROC.
