Request for RFE and no notice mailed to me.

Hi there,

I passed my interview on the July 1st and after that I got a email saying they sent a RFE notice to me. Till now I got nothing from them and my attorney request the service for re-mailing to me and they sent a email back saying that my case is currently in judicial pending and has no date yet as in July 23. What is going on? Attorney is going down to the local immigration office to check it out Tuesday. Hope everything will be fine.

* Why am I not getting my notice when they said they send one?

Anyone got into the same sticky situation like me?

Based on what I have read, your case seem to be under some form of investigation before an answer can be reached. You stated that you are using an attorney which seems to suggests that something to do with the law is involved. Sometimes it may be that they have to check if a law was enforced at the time that a particular activity as done or if it was enacted after. I know of someone whose case had to go through judicial proceedings because there was a law that was enacted at the time of the interview that was not in effect at the time a misdemeanor was committed. After 6 months, he was approved for oath ceremony. All the best. See link below ( Its dated 2008 so it may also have been revised since then. Now they said they send it wrongly. It was an error sending the notice for RFE to me. What is happening?
