Quick question about I-864

Hi,

I had a quick question about I-864. My father is submitting this for us...and his wife, my stepmom, will submit I-864a. But there are a few ambiguities...since they filed jointly, I'm a bit confused.

He gave me his tax forms, which don't specify the exact amount of each other's incomes.

So on his I-864 it asks for his current individual income, is that HIS income or the joint combined total on LINE 22 of their taxes. Because it then asks for her individual current income, and I don't know that from the tax forms, only their joint total...which of course it does ask the CURRENT Household income which I assume that to be the combined total income from their taxes, right? They have other income sources other than salaries so how do I distinguish their individual incomes??? Without the W2 forms...what do I put for the individual incomes...

SECOND question: Do I need to submit three years of their taxes? I was under the impression that I only needed to submit the last year. But the form does ask for the last three years of total income, again I assume this would be just the combined total income WHAT ABOUT on her I-864a, how do I distinguish her individual income for the last three years or should it simply be the joint combined income? Why the hell would they even ask this if, the only reason one would need to submit the I-864a, is because the filed jointly!

for question 1... you do need to find out the individual cuz its for that person 1-864 and for your mom I-864 a... fortunately i have the w-2 of last year...

For second question... well its bassically the first
