Last name change and filling out documents

Hi everyone!! I'm doing this process alone, no lawyer or anyone of that sort. I need help with a couple of things. I changed my last name from my maiden name to my married name. The USCIS an NVC have my last name on file. The DS 261 my husband filled out has my new last name, and I'm just worried if there will be any confusion. I don't know whether to proceed filling things out with my old or new, last name.. ANY suggestions???

Another question regarding the I-864 and I-864EZ.. It seems like I can use the I-864EZ but I just want to things right and prefer the I-864 just to be on the safe side. My question is, if I meet the requirements for financial support which I read is 19,662, plus I have some assets, can I still have an additional sponsor or would that additional sponsor ONLY be necessary if I didn't meet the financial requirement? and do I HAVE to send them a letter of employment? I have two jobs and I'm sending my last three years transcripts and copies of my pay stubs for both jobs...

THANKS!!

Use the I-864EZ if you can. It's so much easier. Unless you feel you need a joint sponsor or to add assets, it's really unnecessary to use a form "for the safe side" since both are legal forms.

The additional sponsor is only if you don't meet the requirements (sometimes it is required for up to 3 years, depends on the embassy or consulate) and No, you do not have to send an employment letter. You just should to send some proof of the current income.
