Hi, I was wondering if paying the AOS fee bills and IV fees my cashiers check or money order will delay the process. Is it easier paying electronic? What diference does it make? What I mean is, if I pay via money order, would it takes 4 to 5 weeks to process the payment? It seems that NVC takes 4 to 5 weeks to do anything. Have anyone here pay by mail instead or online? Thanks in advance ☺️

the electronic paying is really via check. It requires a US bank account. Paying by money order etc will significantly slow the process.

I disagree with the above.

Although I certainly would have preferred that our attorney pay electronically, he sent cashier's checks for the AOS and IV fees. It took about 7 days to show paid.

Keep in mind the address of where you send physical payment is NOT the NVC in New Hampshire. The payments go to St. Louis, MO.

Hi, I don't have a checking account. I only have a savings one. If it takes a week then is fine. My fear was that it would take 4 to 5 weeks. It took more than six weeks to upgrade my category status from F2A to IR. Now, I am wondering how long us going to take for me to start receiving fee bills.

Thanks for your answer. If it is only a few days, then is not a problem. I don't have a checking account and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't going take 4 to 5 weeks (NVC style) like other documents have taken in the past.

You can still do it from a savings account. You need the routing number and account number. But however makes you feel the most comfortable. :)

Cool! It is nice to know that. Do you know how long it will take for me to receive AOS fee bills? My category was just upgraded and I am hoping that things will move smoothly from now on. I have a case number since May at NVC. The problem was that there were no visas available under my filing category, which was finally fixed a couple of days ago. Thanks a million ?.
