Change of address while waiting for N-400 interview letter

Hello everyone,

I am going to be moving soon in the same State and the same City. Never done this before, always lived in the same place since coming to the US.

My N-400 is pending. Now i am just waiting for my interview letter but Portland, OR is extremely overloaded so its taking a very long time. I found out that i have to do two things: Fill out AR-11 online and update the case address.

Has anyone had any problems with this? Anyone has any insights or tips on this matter? Anything is greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be moving soon too and my AOS will still be pending, so here's my plan: file the AR-11 change of address online AND set up mail forwarding with USPS so that anything already on its way or sent in error the the old address would eventually get to me at the new one.

Mail forwarding delays delivery by a lot, I've found. But in that situation, I was out of state, halfway across the country. It might be better if you move nearby.

Good tip, Thank you! I am moving just 6-7 miles from where i live now in our city so i think that is close.
