My wife and I filed for a k3 in Santiago, Chile, and her interview is coming up in 2 weeks. One thing we're trying to clear up is if she can apply for a work permit now, or if we have to wait until the adjustment of status is completed. I was reading about the I-765, which we did not file at the consulate in Santiago. Can we do that now? Would it even be worth it? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
