We just got the NOA2 for my fiancee's K-1 Visa. I included my fiancee's daughter on the I-129F petition that we filed for my fiancee. I've read on here that a few people had to apply separately for K-2 (for their step child or children). So my question is do I have to apply for the K-2 visa separately for my step daughter or will she be included on her Mom's K-1 visa? She's has just turned 7 this year.

Thanks, folks.

The k2 visa will come into play at the consulate phase of your visa journey. Suggest you check with the interviewing consulate for their specific instructions/requirements about the K2. Each consulate/ embassy can be a little different.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Thank you, A&B. I read my consulate instructions and K-2 visa is processed at the same time with K-1, so one less worry for me.

Processed at the same time, yes because it's a derivative visa. Just check the actual application process for your Consulate.

In London my son will need a separate medical, I'll need to complete a separate DS160 for him and pay a separate MRV fee. He'll also need his own I134. So there's definitely a separate application process for London.
