Sassyseawitch,

For me, I did not use the C4C, I just did it manually where I just press F5 every 5 or 6 seconds. Very tedious and I would fall asleep just doing it, haha. Yes, it will be frustrating and boredom will kick in really fast, so what I did was I had my laptop in front of me, left finger pushing F5 and right hand on mouse. I memorize where the continue buttons are, so that when the date would pop up, I can quickly grab the date as fast as I can. Other tips to try is to sit in front of the TV while refreshing so that you won't get too bored (just don't get too into what you're watching, or else you will definitely miss!). If you are using a desktop, then of course that would be harder to put it in front of the TV. Just think of ways, to kill time while refreshing. If you are using a desktop, then that might be a bit more of a hassle to put it in front of the TV...point being is do whatever it takes to get that date. You're gonna have to have that mindset where you will need to eat, sleep, & ####### embassy appointments! Every waking moment will be dedicated to scanning that webpage until that date shows up. Heck, I was even doing it at work! Hopefully, you'll have that ability also or your Fiance. Persistence and a whole lotta patience is key to success!

Good Luck!

The IR/CR-1 visa does not use the I-134.

You keep asking questions about the K-1 process, if you are K-1 ... you really need to edit your profile currently it states you are IR/CR-1.

So you're a K1 ... since your fiance filed for an I-129f. But I think you also mentioned in one of your post before that you're married? [sorry, just want to clear it out.]

Which form are you asking for the dates? If it's the I-134, use the NOA1 date on Q#10, Date submitted. But for the Date beside your petitioner's signature, use the date when he will sign the form.

As advised by Hank, you really should edit your profile if you're a K1 and also please fill-in your timeline, so people can give you more definite response to your concerns.

You can also use the letter/email from NVC, if your fiance has not received the letter from NVC with your MNL # there is info in my link below (follow the flashing arrow) for emailing NVC .

What the embassy states about doing the medical is to do it AT LEAST 5-7 days prior

Hi Hank..

I read so many queries here that you have patiently answered..and most of your answers are the ones that I followed..like proceeding to payment of our visa fees and proceed to interview appointment as long as we have our case#..and checked the site and it already have our case with remarks of "READY".. I already had our DS 160 printed out, have my NBI w/ AKA since I am annuled and NBI for my daughter since she is turning 16 on July 13,Police Clearances, NSO CENOMAR, our NSO birth certificates, original copy Entry of Judgement of my annulment..Pictures together since 2004,Travel Documents together everytime he comes home..Now my question is...

In the packet it says that my fiancee should sign the I-134 form but he sent me I-864 instead, original copy of his latest W2,xerox of employment certificate ,I asked him why did he sent me those for AOS he just said that his lawyer prepared it and have him signed it to send it to me...are these documents good enough to suffice our Affidavit of Support?

By the way I am also doing your advise regarding F5 to get an appointment, I am hoping to have our schedule for Interview soon since our approval will expire August 7. I hope to have our schedule so we could proceed to our medicals.

Hope to hear from you..Thanks

Lawyer is an idiot. The I-134 is required by the embassy with the K-1 visa, copy of the most recent tax return and W-2. By DS-160 printed out I am gathering you mean the confirmation page after completing it online. Have your fiance complete the I-134, sign it and send it to you.

Follow the embassy instructions letter for what is required for the interview

http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/325288/packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_updated%2004%20Feb%202014_.pdf

Lastly, your approved petition will not expire in August, the embassy will automatically extend it up to a year... so relax.

i got an appointment about 2 hrs ago for my fiancee for july 21. only two slots were available. last week i set up 'auto refresh plus' to refresh the dashboard every 10 seconds and sound an alarm when 'available' was triggered. i'm using google chrome. i also installed 'page monitor' which will sound an alarm whenever there's any change on a web page. i've been running these 22 hours a day at home and work. i was just closing down my other open windows tonight when the page monitor alarm sounded. the auto refresh alarm should have also sounded, but didn't. i jumped on it within couple of seconds and had it confirmed in about 30 seconds.

good luck you guys
