Hello Everyone

We have recently completed IR5 cases for parents and they have an interview in July. Hurray!

I have been reading the Manila PDF on Interview Preparation and they state the following:

"Immigrant visa applicants should have ALL the following documents ready to submit at the time of the visa interview. Your application will be refused if you fail to bring any of the required documents. "

Aside from the Passport and Required Photos, The list of documents is the same things that we sent to NVC, and NVC Says that they have forwarded all of the required documents. HAs anyone experienced a need to have another copy all of the same documents on-hand at the interview?

I know that I went through this same thing for My Wife's Spouse Visa. We carried about 5 pounds of everything on the list, Mostly Financial Support info. and during the interview they did not ask to see anything other that some pictures of us together.

Do I really need to send more copies of AOS, Financial support, and Civil documents to the Parents in the Philippines when everything has already been sent by the NVC?

I know it's always good to be prepared, just looking for some personal experiences here. Thanks! Qii

I would. I'm making copies of everything I submitted including the forms.

I did the same when I did my K1 visa a while back, just in case they'd ask for it - they never did.

Better be safe than sorry.
