Resend RFE...?

On april 24th we received our second RFE, asking for my husbands divorce papers. At that time my husband was here, in japan, with me so his mom received the letter. My mother in law was the one that mailed the RFE reply, on may 19th (it took a while to be able to mail her the document needed)

The deadline for replying to the RFE is in 2 weeks, on the 24th this month but there is still no confirmation that they received it. It was mailed with regular mail.

Should we just resend it to make sure we make our deadline? My husband called and was told that it takes up to 30 days for them to process mail.

What happens if the deadline passes and we have no way of proving that it was indeed sent or to check if it was actually delivered??

Does anyone know the address for TSC? Is a cover letter necessary?

When I sent RFE response, it only took a week for them to process and approve the case. I also sent to TEXAS. You should have probably spoken to a TIER 2 at USCIS. THEY KNOW MORE THAN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP THAT TAKES YOUR CALL. they only tell you stuff they read from a computer( general stuff). You probably need a copy of that cover sheet, since it has the address for the service center and I believe it has the i.d number of whoever has your case at the center. At least that's what mine had. Did your mother in law keep a copy for your records? I think this might be the address:

no, i don't have a tracking number...it was mailed regular mail
