He actually said "ruin". I just assumed an overstay would more than complicate things, but make it nearly impossible to get approved. It probably also depends on how long the overstay is.

Of course, that was never our plan so it was fine!

Dublin was a bit hard, but the lines will be shorter (we were able to surpass Border Patrol in Chicago and the line was HUUUUUUGE!), and you're right, it's a shorter flight home should something go wrong.

but made sure he knew not to overstay because it would ruin his chances for our K1.

Ruin is probably a wrong word, complicate a better one.

Being refused a visa means he would have had to declare that at the PoE, and usually results in a grilling.

Dublin seem to be a harder PoE, but then not so far back if you get bounced.

Went to England on working visa June 2006

Sent off I-129F October 2006 <3 <3 <3

In England until visa expired December 2006

We leave England for a stateside Christmas December 17, 2006

Karl goes back to the UK January 7, 2007

I make a scene at the airport January 7, 2007

I head back to the UK to wait it out with him February 9, 2007
