There is no website nor any "formal" format to email the embassy with. I entered our case # in the subject line for the email. As far as what to say, I provided the following content:

  1. PTP#
  2. Both the petitioner and beneficiary's names and birthdates and
  3. Reason for the email, aka: "Our interview was on XX-XX-XX and we are checking on the status of our approval as well as to see if any additional information is needed from either of us...." Keep it brief and to the point.

I included both of our telephone numbers as well and closed with "We look forward to your reply and to finally being together soon! Thank you, xxxxxx" That's it. No need to over think it at all.....

The email looked something like this:

TO: papcons@state.gov

RE: PTPxxxxxxxxxx Status Inquiry

-------------------------------------------------------

CASE NUMBER: PTPXXXXXXXX
BENEFICIARY: Xxxxxx Xxxxx , DOB: xx-xx-xxxx

PHONE NUMBER: 509-XXXX-XXXX

To Whom it May Concern,
We are emailing again to check in on the progress of our case. Our interview was held on xx-xx-xxxx As of today, XX days have passed and we remain in administrative review......

Please, if there is ANYTHING we can do to help this process move forward, let us know. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated regarding the status. We are excited to start spending our life FINALLY being together as a family. We sincerely appreciate your diligence in working our case.

Thank you,
