I'm new to this site as a member but I've been using the step by step to guide me through assembling and filing the I-129. Yesterday I received a letter in the mail saying that my I-129 application has been approved and that is now being sent to the embassy where my fiance is from but nowhere on the paper did it say NOA or have an A#. It had a case number and the address of the embassy and instructed me to have my fiancé fill out a form online to apply for a K visa. So I am confused is this a NOA that I received? I already got an email a couple months ago as well as a letter in the mail notifying me that they received my I-129 but that was 3 months ago. Do I begin collecting all nessesary documents to send to my fiance or do I wait for further instruction?

The letter you get saying they've RECEIVED your Petition is NOA 1

The second letter you get saying they've APPROVED your Petition is NOA2

The Approved Petition will now be sent to the Embassy in the country (Tunisia?) your fiancee is waiting in.

Yes, you should start to collect all the necessary documents, including complete the i-134 addidavit of support and the documantary evidence to go with it. Your fiancee will receive instruction from the Embassy saying they have received an Approved Petition that she is the beneficiary for and instructions to complete the forms she will need to take to her interview. THANK YOU! I was so confused, I guess I'm not familiar with the slang. ;)
