Jamaica: Visa in hand?

Guys, please share how long you waited after approval of the interview to receice the visa. I really want to pick a wedding date so I can have something to other than stress over this process.

I know the embassy says two weeks but whats your experience?

Interview was on April 30th in Kingston....still no visa or update on the CEAC site. I know you didn't ask that question but I'll keep you posted just the same.

No, your ok. This is exactly what I want to know. Im sure its gonna take over two weeks but im hoping not a month My papers are being processed at CSC so im confident things will move along until this step. No RFE yet...but no NOA2 yet either.

We set a date in our mind for November 16, 2014. I want to book the hall but really cant do anything until the interview and visa in hand

Overall our whole process has taken 9 months and we filed at TSC, we just had our interview at the embassy on April 30th and here we are on May 16, my honey still doesn't have his visa, however it was updated on the CEAC website as of yesterday 5/15/2014, so we are hopeful and I can let you know exactly when we do receive it..it can be a slow process overall sometimes, but definitely worth it at the end!!!
