hi!

:help:my fiance got our letter of approval last Dec.15, 2006 (noa2). now, im wondering what is the next step for us to do?

do i need to wait for the embassy packet that will be sent to me before i could get an interview shedule or can i go ahead and call the US embassy hotline here and asked them to schedule me?

I/We really need directions on how to go about this.

Thank you!

If you have your NOA2... then your petition will be forwarded to the NVC (National Visa Centre) for processing, once it has been processed there they will forward it to the embassy.

All of this information is in the K1 flowchart under the guides section.. check it out

Best of luck !

Hey... sanfrancisco :)

That was me and my fiancee! Our NOA2 arrived in mail Dec 15 - to a San Francisco address where he lives and where I arrived on that day for Christmas holiday. On the way from the airport when he picked me up, checked the mailbox and NOA2 was in there! Good timing or what?! Taking me back to the airport 3 weeks later, checked the mailbox - NVC letter was in it! Just in time!

Now we just sit and wait. Both of you and both of us. Spend time reading guides and old posts, try to put together things you will need for the interview. That's our next step! Have you applied for your police check? That can take a while, depending on the country you are in - doing your timeline can be fun and check out the guides as some kindly suggested :)

Anyway... good luck. We are hopefully both well on our way to our darlings in SF!
