Will someone please explain the process between the scheduleing the medical and the actual interview? Where does the online form "Notifications of applicats readiness" come into play?

We are going through this right now at the London Embassy. The notification lets them know that you have all your paperwork and are ready for interview We have this submitted and ready to go. She has her medical on 7 May and when it it sent to the embassy it will marry up with the Paperwork and they will set the interview. It was recommended that if you have the paperwork ready that you submit it and it puts you one step up.

We are hoping for a quick interview day as the wedding is scheduled 10 June. Crosses Fingers. All our paperwork is submitted except for payment for visa. Medical on Wed the 5 days for it to go to the embassy then the packet 4 letter and payment.

Good luck

This is a great guide to what happens in London. This should answer your questions and looks to be up to date.

Have you updated your time line from the looks of it you are a long way from having to worry about the embassy things. The guide above is great.

Thank you, ill have a look! I just sent the 1-129 in o i have a while. I just like to know what to expect.

How long has it taken from when you first sent it in to your fiance getting the letter from London?

Here is our time line so far. It seems like for ever but is actually moving fast. It will all depend on where your 129 f is sent to for processing. California is quick not so for Texas. You can know better when the Noa1 is received. as it will tell you where it is. Please check your timeline as your consulate is listed as Armenia. This will mess with the numbers you receive. Change it to London. Take a look and follow our time line I am keeping it up. Let me know if you have questions.

Ours was sent to California which is processing fast. I am from Wa State. Since you are from Dallas you may be kept at the TX service center. Which looks to have longer times Good Luck. If you have questions I will try and help let me know. Texas is reporting that they are processing Feb 8 of 2014. Alot will depend on where your 129f Is sent.

I read two completly different things on a forum on here and i do not understand at all!

The London guide link I posted to you hours before you started this thread tells you what to do. It just takes some time to read and let it sink in. You should not follow anybody from another country or consulate because they all have different procedures. Not all have a Readiness form. Some do medicals on the same day as interview. Some schedule their own interview. So you could be confused if you aren't reading London specific instructions.

Post 4 in the London guide http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/?p=6741238. says-----

1) Send DS-160

2) Schedule and attend a medical

3) Send the Readiness form

Then it says--

NOTES:

The order for medical and readiness form are interchangeable. If you have all your documents, you can submit the Notification of Applicant's Readiness before you actually attend the medical.
