I was approved for my k1 visa in august. My daughters name was included in the petition. I am currenfly waiting for my interview date for my residency. My daughter is 4 years oldand stayed in the dominican fepublic with her mom. She is going for her visa interview on the 19th. Im sureshe will gether visa. But now i have some concerns: When she comes, will I have to have a separate application to change her status? Is it true that MUSTstay inthe US for at leats 6 months before she can go back to see her mother?

Yes, you will have to file to adjust her separately.

She can leave at any time.

If she leaves without AP or a green card, she will abandoned the AOS.

It takes about 3 months to get AP after she files for AOS.

Same rules as when you AOS.
