IV application Package question

Hello. My name is Aakash Mehta. I have filed I-130 petition for my wife. Our I-130 has been approved and the case is in NVC now. I just prepared the package of Affidavit of Support and I am about to mail it. The next step is IV application fees and package. In the document checklist, I see that police certificate is required for the beneficiary. So, my question is, can you scan all the documents from abroad and send electronically to the petitioner? Or you recommend mailing the documents to the petitioner?

Hi Akash: The IV package requires either originals or certified true copies. That means original Marriage Certificate, Original Birth Certificate, and Original PCC. Plus a copy of the bio page of the Passport (beneficiary), 2 pics (beneficiary) and the barcoded sheet on the top. So scanning and sending to the petitioner will not work. But your wife (beneficiary) can send these documents directly from India to NVC. She does not have to mail them to you. There is nothing that requires your signature. From India DHL Express Mail. My wife said they will deliver in 3 working days to USA.
