I-130 question about petitioner living abroad - which address?

Quick question:

My wife is the petitioner, she is a U.S citizen, but she's been living with me since 2 years ago.

On the I-130 it asks where she currently lives, I am guessing that she will put the Swedish address, but when people receive NoA's they go to an american address right? will they send the NoA's to the address we listed on "Address in the United States where your relative intends to live"

Or should she put her american address as current?

My wife just put our address we are currently living at in the UK, we received the notification of the NOA1 and NOA2. You will be able to see any case status updates on the website as well, especially if you sign up for the e-mail notification it will give you the receipt # as well.

It really doesn't matter which one you put, but bare in mind if you get request for further evidence from USCIS, it will take a couple weeks to possibly to get to Sweden.

I think you have to use the address where she is currently living, in your case in Sweden. I have heard of conflicts of petitioners using a US address for the current residential address and then submitting bank statements, leases, or other supporting evidence with the foreign address. I think USCIS is looking for consistency.

They might add scrutiny if it looks like you don't currently live together. You may want to do more research, but I would definitely put the address in Sweden. You can always call USCIS later to change the address. Another petitioner included the explanation in the cover letter to have all mailed materials go to her mother's house in the US, even though she was living abroad. Then again, USCIS often ignores requests in cover letters.
