Ok - so its been over a month since NOA2 and no word from NVC. I call all the time (busy busy busy) and I emailed 1+weeks zero reply)...just want a little help here

I have pre prepared my G325

She has done the same with each form as well as obtained a police certificate

Is there additional preparation we should or can be doing to eliminate delays going forward?

Ant advice is greatly appreciated (I have read up and down all of the guides/shortcuts/etc)

I wish I could offer some advice, it took 8 weeks for USCIS to forward the approved petition. We called and emailed and called again, and I don't think it made any difference in the long run.

21 Sep 2013 - Filed i-129F

27 Nov - NOA2 email received (63 days since NOA1)

30 Jan 2014 - NOA2 sent to NVC (64 agonizing days) P.S. Apparently VJ doesn't care about accurate timelines.

11 Feb - Got Case number

24 Feb - Packet 3 Received and Submitted

25 Feb - Packet 4 Received and Submitted

29 Apr - Medical (Dr Cheema)

01 May - Vancouver Consulate Interview - Approved!

06 May - Visa in hand!

06 June - Entered the USA!

14 June - Married!

Keep trying to call... I usually have to dial multiple times before I get through, then a long wait on hold before I get through to a person.

Most likely your file has been received, and it's possible you have already been issued a case number and IIN. But there are some people on the NVC thread who never got an email from NVC. It seems like you really need to call. It sucks, I know, but the time on hold is worth it if you get to go ahead. If you're in their system, get the numbers and give them your emails (and spouse's).

I presume you mean the i864... The g325 was for the USCIS. You don't need to do another one. It's good that you're prepared!

Once you get ahold of NVC and get your info, then the two of you just go step by step (referencing those great guides) and all should go smoothly!

Also, check in with the April NVC filers thread... Lots of good advice and people at all stages of the process! Good luck!

OK...reached through the phone (maybe 20 dials lol) and good news is they actually have our case...said still a few weeks from assigning a case number and sending us info but hey...at least our stuff is not lost...right?
