I had my interview on February 25 and they said my visa was approved and give them 1 month to process my visa. When I sent an email they said that my case has been reviewed and enter to further mandatory administative processing. But my CEAC status still READY from the very beginning till now. I don't have any idea when my visa to be issued. I thought my visa will be issued in one month that's why I filed a resignation right after the interview because I need to notify my company 3 to 4 months prior to my resignation for them to find my replacement. Thank god my boss is very understanding and he allow me to extend till I receive my visa. Hopefully waiting is over and I'll get a good news this coming days or a week.

How come your medical will expire soon? Medical examination valid for one year? When you did you take it?

When they tell you that your case went into AP process. This can take from days, weeks, to months. No one can or able to know when this will be ready. Even if you contact the embassy they wont give you timeline or deadline for it. That is what most people say and through my readings in various website. I guess this is a further investigation taken by USA. Not even by your embassy. If it is done by embassy they would tell you when it will be ready. But they are waiting the investigation results from USA. That is my personal conclusion of course....after reading so much in forums.

What is your nationality (if you don't mind me asking of course)

God Only Knows

Keep praying and hopefully you will get it done ASAP

Good luck with your journey :)

I taken my medical examination on first week ok february 2014 and I thought medical is valid only for six months.

The first time I asked them about the status of my visa was three weeks ago they told me that my case has been reviewed and enter to further administrative processing. My fiancé called nvc and they said that AP usually takes 2 to 3 months before visa to be issued.

Thank you and hopefully it will be issued soon :)
