Here are the instructions for the I-130 : http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-130instr.pdf and this will help: http://www.uscis.gov/i-130

There are also post on this site VisaJourney.com which will help you too, just in the "search" type " I-130." Or the type of visa you are trying to get - for example CR-1.

Some of the more experienced members may have the page links for you. But in the meantime, the I-130 is very easy, just fill out the online form, fill out the G-325 for by you the sponsor (your husband) and then he has to fill out his G-325 and it must be signed - original signature- by him (retired grandfather). The other necessary items for submission are listed on there.

After you have put it together then you should list what all your sending so the folks on here can give you additional advice too.

I wish you the best luck on you and your family getting your grandfather over to the US!

Blessings!

thanks. but what i meant is that he dont have enough income to file the affidavit of support so he will have his grandfather as the co sponsor. and he is actually thinking of getting an immigration lawyer which i dont agree with.

You dont need to worry about income right now. The Affidavit Of Support will be process in the next step at NVC. You CANNOT file I-130 and I-864 together at USCIS. For saving time, do I-130 ASAP, while you waiting for I-130 approval, you have alot of time (5-6-9 months) to research about AOS
