I'm curious as to what we should do, we're looking at copies and my fiancee accidentally has the wrong birth years for her parents on the I-129F. We're past the NOA and have our NVC case number, we're looking to fill out the DS160 forms and it requires their birthyears. If they mismatch will that be an issues, of course we're going to put down the real birth years, what should we do to make sure this causes no hiccups later on in the process?

I'm pretty sure that i had the wrong birth year of my dad filled in and corrected it on the second form. Never had a problem with it. In the worst case you get a RFE and you have to explain the situation.

Thanks for the response, I figured that would be the case. RFE's are still a thing after we're done with the USCIS? Good to hear they don't cause too much of a fuss.

You wont get any RFE's from the embassy. I doubt they look at your file until you are there and not in that much detail. If they say anything just tell them you made a ####### up. They are just people, not out to trip you up.

I don't think its a biggie. My USC spouse got his mothers surname wrong, put down her married surname instead of her maiden name. I noticed, but it didn't affect anything.

We had the wrong birth year for my husband. We did a service request at USCIS and they told us it had been fixed. At NVC they again had the wrong birth year so I sent an email. They fixed it.
