Just wanna ask if there is any impact on quitting the job while waiting for NOA2. I'm the beneficiary and a mother of one daughter. My fiance is willing to support me if in case I decided to quit my job. I just wanna spend more time with my family and my daughter and have more time with him online.. Since we have received NOA1 we really gettin excited and wanted to see and talk everyday..

Only the income of the US petitioner matters, but unless he makes a lot of money and has a lot to spare, I would say keep working. Moving to another country isn't easy or cheap, and the most of people need to save whatever they can between now and then.

in my opinion, there wouldn't be a problem if the beneficiary is jobless (In fact, i resigned from my job when we got NOA2 because I need time to process the required papers which my fiance and I agreed). The thing that would matter is the Petitioner's ability to support you, if his income meets or exceeds the poverty level.

Thank you for your inputs, really appreciated! Atleast I have idea now that losing a job would not coz any impact with the process, I'm still connected with the company, but 80% decision is to quit while only 20% is to stay..
