Hi I am new here and so I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong area. My fiance and I are hoping to get the visa process started but we kind of decided last minute to go this route instead of marrying here in Ireland as he has just deployed a week ago. We got all the forms filled in gathered evidence etc. However he has been divorced twice now, and he was unable to get his divorce decrees before leaving as he was divorced in two different states and would not of got them in time before deploying. My question is, since he is a soldier if he goes ahead and files it while he is deployed would they be able to check and see that he is legally able to marry or would they just deny it? Could the army give any evidence that he is legally able to marry since he does not have access to his divorce decrees right now? I can't see how we could get his divorce decrees while he is deployed and I am back in Ireland again so I can't get them either. We also don't want to risk marrying when he returns in December and trying to adjust status without using a K-1 Visa, sorry this is so long but any advice or options would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much

You'll get an RFE (at best) or the petition denied (possible but usually not likely) since you didn't provide what they wanted.

He can order them on line or over the phone from the county in which the divorces were filed.
