Folks, I have my DCF/CR1 interview tomorrow and to say I'm freaking out is an understatement.

A few points to clarify:

DS-230 - Do I bring the emailed confirmation, or do I go back to the website and print out a full copy of the transcript as submitted to bring with?

I864 - My wife's stepmother is sponsoring and has filled out and signed the forms dated January 4th, but since then sent me her 2013 tax return, should i redo that page and submit or will that clash with the date of the signature?

I864 - The first page - is the mailing address and courntry of citizenship on my wife and mom's forms my address/country/DOB or theirs? Guessing mine but want to be sure.

I864 - Part 4 - for my wife, UK mailing addess, place of residence as her folks place? She keeps her car payment/bank account/credit card at that address and that's where we'll stay for a little while once we get there so...? Or do we put place of residence as UK address and country of domocile as US?

I864 - If we put place of residence as US, do we include wifey in Part 5 sponsor's household size?

I'm sure I'll think of more. Thanks guys!

While I'm asking, my time is 9am, but I'm planning on getting there for 7am, sound like a good idea? Reading reviews it seems the optimum time is anywhere before 7:30am.

Also I've seen someone mention an MRV receipt - I understood I pay for the visa on the day? I have the courier reciept thing, is it this? Or is that for a different visa?

God sorry, another question - as she's living in the UK and has no US income, my wife is selecting option 4 in part 6 to say she's unemployed since she left the US - is this correct? And if so, does she enter her mother as Person 1 for income she's including etc?

Wow, you've left it all to the last minute havent you?! wink.png

I'm not sure about the I-864 stuff as we did not use a joint sponsor but I know that you don't need to bring a copy of the DS-230/60 as it will be on the screen in front of the ConOff when he/she is interviewing you. Bring one just in case if you want to though.

Also, even though the embassy schedules appointments it's more of a first come, first serve kind of deal because you are handed a ticket with a number in the order that you arrive. So if you arrived at 7:30 you will probably be out of there before 9.

Regarding the visa payment I think that you can register with the courier company before your interview, but you have to pay for the Visa afterwards.

Thanks Tyorke. To be honest I have the forms filled out a few weeks now but I've gone back to them in the last day and more down to nerves than anything I'm having these horrible doubts about what I've put on there.

I've packed the DS-230 just to be safe, guessing you're right since it's an online form now, but no harm in having too much docs.

Good to know I could be out by 9! Staying with my brother and he's working local to Bond Street at 7am, so going to travel with him to keep the nerves at bay a little.

Also I've looked more about the courier and it looks like my visa is paid on the day (at least lost_at_sea's was so that's a good sign).

Overall I'm feeling good about it. Slightly worried about our docs for intent to establish but at this stage we're going to have to roll the dice and see what we end up with.
