Hello,

I have interview at the end of March. We just filed 2012,2013 taxes and requested Itin number so it will take around 6 weeks to get tax return. We submitted tax transcripts from previous years and my husbands bank account statement and they accepted so didn't rfe for 2012 taxes. So I am curious are they gonna ask me at interview for 2012? We can bring copy of the papers that we Sent to IRS but not sure if there is some way to call irs and request confirmation that they received it and that we filed 2012 and 2013 taxes.

Also in interview notice it says to bring birth certificate of kids of spouse not living with us. My husband has daughter from previous marriage and lives with her mom. So his ex wife sent us copy of daughters birth certificate. Is copy enough? They don't live I'm same city as us and my husband doesn't have full custody so I don't see reason why he should have original birth certificate.

I am just trying be ready for interview as much as I can and already stressing.

I tried look in forum for this answers but couldn't find it so I mask dry if if was asked.

You can get IRS transcripts online:http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

I think a couple weeks after you file the transcripts should be available. I would try that, and bring the transcripts to the interview.

If you really can't get the transcripts, bring what you can and just explain.

Copy of birth certificate will probably be enough. Again, just explain the situation as it is.

For reference, I went to my interview lugging a whole tote bag of documents and pictures and the only the that the officer asked to see were a few wedding pictures, my passport and my I-94. Not taxes, not bank statements or anything else.

Of course every interview if unique and it's natural to worry.. but try to relax and be excited that you're almost there!

Good luck!
