My mother filed and i130 for me on March 5th 2013....i was 20 at the time. the case was approved and forwarded to the NVC in NOVEMBER 2013. We recently paid the AOS and mailed the documents back to the NVC. Two questions: what's next? 2. I turned 21 recently would the NVC change my category even though I have begun the visa process and paid the fees?

Filed: Country: Vietnam (no flag)

Turning 21 in April 2013 is not recently. This is vital information in light of the fact that the I-130 was filed by an LPR parent one month before your 21st birthday.

Fortunately, your PD was and has been current since the I-130 was approved. This mean your CSPA age is locked in at 20 years and 11 months for immigration purposes.

Good luck.

1. Next - finish at NVC, then consular processing

2. You stay in the F2a category because of CSPA.
