I want to apply for AOS for my wife in couple of weeks (the forms I-130 and I-485). Do you have any idea how long it will take until AOS interview?

I saw on USCIS website that they process the applications from June 2013 in Washington DC (Fairfax office).

Take a look at my info. Everyone's case is different. Some people get RFE's that might slow the process, but this will give you a general idea. Good Luck!

My husband is adjusting through our marriage. You might want to add the I-765 form for the EAD. It won't cost you anything extra to get the work permit and you can go ahead apply for the SSC and Driver's License once she receive it.

From the research I've done most people cases have been taking about 3 months. Just a little tip.....doing the biometrics early can speed up the process goofy.gif

I tweaked my timeline a bit.

Also, when your interview time comes at Fairfax, a bit of extra info:

-It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Metro right now, because they're doing construction and you have to take the long way.

-There seems to be ample parking around the building-- public lots and meters

-The building does not open until 8:30 am

-They do not have a vending machine, but do allow drinks in (I was dying for a soda, and had to settle for fountain water ;) )
