Hello all...my petition has arrived at London...I have filled out the DS-160. Status shows as 'No Status'. When do I book medical and what is the readiness form and where do I complete it?

Hi there,

The readiness form is here: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/notification_of_applicant_readiness_form.html

It is the form that informs the embassy that you have done everything at your end, but you need to book a medical with the Knightsbridge Doctors as you have to state when the date of your medical is on the readiness form. You can book the medical right now, seeing as you have submitted you DS-160. Just make sure you have all of the documents you need, as the folks at the medical will want to see your police certificate, vaccination history etc.

Thank you so much for all your help…now booked medical for the 4th March 2014…and completed the readiness form too…i hope my visa journey continues to run as smoothly as it has up to now.

i have been in the background reading other posts and have learned so much from this site…!!
