One more question for you guys! I am planning on applying for a spousal visa for my husband in the fall. I understand that I need to have a stable job and living space to support him once he arrives, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to move once this process is underway. I am from New England and would like to stay home with my mother while I go through this process, but my husband has connections to California already and we would probably be moving out there if/when he was approved. I know I would still have to have a job once out there (and an apartment etc) but if I had taken care of that before we moved? Or would I have to simply move to California and find a job there from the get-go to show that I could support him where we plan on living?

Please let me know if anyone has any experience with this!
