I still haven't received an appointment letter from the embassy. My case according to CEAC website is READY.. Should I just pay the visa fee right away and schedule an interview? soo confused... I do have everything ready.

If you have your MNL # you should for sure pay the visa fee and get your interview scheduled online, do the medical and CFO ..

Our application status on the CEAC website was "READY" since November 2013.

We waited for a few weeks for anything that may come from US Embassy but we didn't, so in the first week of December, he paid the visa fee and scheduled an interview date online.

My fiance did not receive the actual letter from US Embassy until Jan 2014!

So, YES, I suggest you pay the visa fee now and reserve an interview date right away!
