Just for the record there are people at the USCIS that work a whole lot, including nights and weekends. But, they will NOT answer the phone with a human being outside normal working hours. Hard to know whether the people who work on weekends and after hours have the authority to update an official status. You simply have to wait until the folks show up during normal operating hours are there.

I don't know about them working Saturdays, but when I called and dialed my case number it said that I was approved for my I-129 petition on 2/21 which was Friday. Then tonight I got the email from that same approval. right now its around midnight sat. night/sun morning.

I'm just realizing what you guys meant by "working Saturdays". I didn't speak to anyone, it was an automated costumer service thing that "told" me about my status. is this new? my first time caling. :D
