Hello! Anybody here filed for their spouse's F2A petition this month? If you have, let's keep ourselves updated here. I'm hoping to find a buddy of the same page... it's hard to be away from your better half. :(

God bless!

My wife's F2A Journey

2014/02/04: I-130 package sent to USCIS Phoenix Lockbox

2014/02/10: USCIS Acceptance Confirmation via email & text message (case forwarded to California Service Center)

Hi! U got a buddy here.

Filed for my hubby

Sent I-130 express 02/13/2014

Received 02/14/2014

I live in Pittsburgh n I just had my naturalization interview which I passed. But I decided to send in hubby's paperwork since currently f2a is processing faster. Will then see which service center they send me to and then il see if after my oath I will upgrade my petition or not ( hopefully I don't get penalized) haha

Anyway my DO is Pittsburgh, pa and I hope I get sent to CSC as they are on track with applications as compared to VSC.

Waiting game begins..

I wouldn't worry about you since u are from the Philippines, your case gets adjudicated quicker.

Lets keep each other updated Nd hope we get more buddies

Hello babfela!

Glad to know you got yours running as well. Though its possible that your petition category "upgrades" once you become a US Citizen... though I'm not sure if its automatic. By the way, I suggest you create a timeline here at visajourney (if you don't have one yet) so we can keep track of each other better. :) I wish the best for you and your husband. God bless!
