Hi, yes, you need to send all civil documents for Immigration Visa package and Affidavit of Support to the NVC not to the Consulate. After they have revised and the documents are fine, that they will send them directly to the consulate.

Thanks for the answer. My confusion was because as DCF in Italy we don't manage with NVC but the case number is produced and sent by the consulate in Naples. Sounded weird that I need yo send documentation to NVC in US.

Considering your timeline I think you applied in US, is it correct?

For DCF, we just waited to turn in all documents in Naples but I would email them just to be sure. I was also confused after filling out the online form.

IR-1 visa by Direct Consular Filing in Rome:

03.07.10 - Got married in Italy

01.11.10 - Moved to Spain

02.08.13 - Moved back to Italy

09.20.13 - I-130 filed at US consulate in Rome

10.18.13 - Received NOA2

10.24.13 - Received packet 3 via email from Naples

11.26.13 - Interview at Naples consulate. Approved!!
