Hi all,

Jan 24, embassy picked up the cenomar from NSO. (The only thing wrong with the one I submitted in my Jan 16 interview was that it didn't have my father's name, which wasn't my fault coz NSO printed it that way.) I called Jan 27 and embassy said they will give it to the consul for review. Then on Jan 28 CEAC status became Admin Processing. Today, Feb 4, I called embassy again and they said it is under review by the consul. And when I checked CEAC after a few hours, the CEACs "status updated date" changed to Feb 4 but the status is still Admin Processing. What does that mean that the "status updated date" changed, but status is still Admin Processing? Thanks so much.

Relax, it will bounce around in and out AP as they review your file, it may go back to ready after that then onward to issued. Even under normal processing, without a 221g, the process can take two weeks after the interview.
