i have a question and i hope somebody can help me decide too.. i have immediate family in the US i have two sisters and my mom is there .. im a little worried that we might be denied coz of that.. and on the Ds-160 form also if i have to declare them or just my fiance.. any reply will be much appreciated

like you, i also have two sisters in the US, both lpr.also my mom is there but just as a tourist. I declared them all in my ds 160. I dont think it will be a ground for denial. you can possibly be denied if they find out you are being dishonest.

hi gee777.. i have a sister in texas who got there coz she is a nurse and through a job offer and the other one is she married a us citizen and she petitioned my mom 3 years ago..but they have nothing to do with how i met my fiance coz i met him while i was working abroad.. i hope

that they wont question me about that.. do u think i should declare them

all on the ds-160 form? thanx :)

. by the way iam still caught up finishing the form coz of that dilemma and my fiance too is undecided but we wanna be honest on everything..when will u have your interview btw?

oh you know what, my youngest sister is also a nurse there who married a usc while the other one went there through a job offer:-D also, like you, they have nothing to do with me and my fiance's meeting coz i met him through internet. I believe it is not an issue to declare them in the form. I did so.. me and my son's interview schedule will still be on april :-)

thats nice..we have almost the same case haha..well ill take your advice ill declare them all and lets pray that we will both get approve..oh btw ill be scheduling an appointment by march coz i have to wait till we get the 1040 and the other documents needed for the affidavit of support..goodluck to your interview hope ull have me updates with the result :)

Hi, I have relatives in the USA, but in DS-160 is asking if I have immediate family in the US (my brother is in England not in USA) so i only chose my fiancé as immediate family cause there's an option for fiancé, hope it will not a ground for denial.

Cousins, aunts, uncles.

Now I'm getting nervous. Ugghh

. in my case i have my mom too and remember theres a question that is your mom living in the US? i click yes..so kinda confuse with the immediate family coz i have two sisters there..when wi be your interview?

Immediate family are your parents, and siblings. I clicked no coz mom is here in the Philippines, and no immediate family in the USA. Hope I didn't misunderstand their question about immediate family. Hehehe. My interview is on the 6th. When is yours?

oh sorry i didnt explain it much..when i said i was confuse with the immediate family, its like if im gonna include them or not coz im afraid the co might use it as a negative points for me.. i havent scheduled my interview yet coz im still waiting for the rest of the documents that we will need at the interview :) goodluck Edited by stonefreakjen
