My fiance just received packet 3. There were only 4 things in the packet:

1. A letter from the consulate with intro

2. A copy of our 1-129 F

3. Notice for K-1 Visa Applicants (instructions for returning packet 3)

In the notice it says that the only documents to be mailed to the consulate are 1. Copy of DS-160 confirmation page; 2. Copy of Passport Info Page; 3. Two Passport Photos

Question: what's the deal with DS-230?!?! Did DS-160 replace that? Is there anything else we need to send?

Yes, it's all consolidated to the online form now. DS-160 done on line and you send the printed confirmation page. Also make sure she prints an extra copy for her interview. Congrats!
