EAD can't be verified

Can someone please give me some advice on my situation. My EAD was approved on the 10th of this month and I have already received it. I went to apply for SSN same day and my status could not be verified right away; they said to wait 3-4 weeks until DHS updates their records. After reading about the issue I decided to wait 10 days before going to apply for license. I went to the DMV and it was the same issue! They could not verify my EAD and told me to wait a week.

Am so frustrated I don't know what to do. I have a job offer pending as well and I only have 2 weeks to present my work documents. Is there anyone who has been in this situation? Anything I can do to speed up the process?

Why would they issue EAD and not update their 'system'?

11/01/13- Mailed AOS Package
11/03/13- USPS update- Package delivered
11/08/13- Texts received for acceptance of all 3 forms
11/13/13- Received NOAs for I-485 and I-765. No I-130?
11/18/13- Biometrics Appointment letter received
11/19/13- Successful biometrics walk in
11/27/13-Received RFE
12/16/13- Sent requested evidence
01/08/14- Case status changed to Testing and Interview
01/16/14-EAD received!

06/12/14- Interview. Approved on spot!
