Hello guys. After being 221g'd I finally got my paperwork together needed and sent it off through Loomis to the consulate 1 week ago on the 13th (my passport was in this package).

I have some VERY kind friends who just purchased me a week vacation (non refundable) to Cuba with them.

I went to the Passport office and explained the situation to them and the people at the passport office said that they need some proof in writing from the US consulate that they do infact have my passport. I showed them my loomis receipt but it was not enough evidence

Is this possible? Can I call or email the US consulate for this writing?

You cannot call or email Montreal. They only do the online form.
