Registering Our Marriage in New Orleans in the UK

Hi there, I'm looking for some advice.

I'm a British citizen and after 5 years of conversation, I finally met my partner whilst she was visiting our country in December 2012. We hit it off instantly and before long, confessed how we'd felt about each other after all that time. She visited again in May 2013 and we officially became an item.

I visited her beautiful hometown near Houston, TX last October into November and whilst there, visited New Orleans. One evening, we decided to marry at a little chapel in the French Quarter. I returned home on my specified date.

She's here vision again at present and my overarching aim is to submit my spousal visa and emigrate. However, because none of our relatives were present, we wanted to hold a marriage ceremony here in the UK in November 2014.

Firstly, is our marriage legal/recognise here? And if not, how do we make it so? Secondly, is she allowed to enter the country in November for a second marriage, or if our marriage is already recognised a symbolic exchange of vows?

We're really confused about whether she should obtain a visa for that specific visit. Any advice y'all could offer would be great.

I think you are talking about a Celebration which can be done as a visitor.
