Yes, I changed my address online and received a letter at my new address that it has been changed.

I changed my address online back in September, and never got a letter. Had husband update his too with the I-865 (since he's the I-864 sponsor) and he didn't get a letter back either. I just assumed they didn't send a receipt.

* I-130/CR-1 visa by Direct Consular Filing in London
3rd May 2013 - Married in London
7th May 2013 - I-130 filed
4th June 2013 - NOA2 (approved)
16th July 2013 - Interview (approved)
30th July 2013 - POE San Francisco
29th August 2013 - 2 year green card arrived

 

* How? Read my DCF London I-130 for CR1/IR1 Spouse Guide

* Removal of Conditions (RoC) via California Service Centre
1st May 2015 - 90 day RoC window opened
6th May 2015 - I-751 filed (delivered 8th May, cheque cashed 18th May)
7th August 2015 - Approved / GC production
27th August 2015 - 10 year green card arrived

* Naturalisation (Citizenship) via Phoenix Lockbox

* San Francisco Field Office:
1st May 2016 - N-400 window opened
20th August 2016 - N-400 filed
26th August 2016 - NOA1
13th September 2016 - Biometrics

12th January 2017 - Biometrics (again)
30th May 2017 - Interview (approved)

Thanks for replying! I want to know tho if they were able to receive my new address. Thinking of filing it again.. Although I filed mine last May 2013

I got this in the form of an email and letter in the mail:

On September 25, 2013, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-751 to notify us of your change of address. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

We have updated your address in our electronic system with the new information you gave during your call.

It may be because I changed it online and also called them to update it over the phone. I can't say for sure that a letter is sent after someone updates their address.

I kept a copy of the form submission confirmation when I did it online, expecting not to get a receipt. I've read on here a couple times that changes of address don't always seem to get logged. I don't know! Ugh.

I don't know if it matters, but this was a change of address *after* I got my GC.

I wouldn't say they didn't get it, I do have an application pending. When I changed it a time before, I didn't get a confirmation that they changed it and I didn't have an application pending then.
