Hello guys,

Could someone help me with my situation.... I got my first greean card on august 2010 through marriage of a US citizen guy. We're from California and on Nov 2012 I moved to ND due to job for 1 year and my husband didn't go with me since he got a good job back in california and now I just moved here in Texas due to job again, but I keep going home almost every month. I keep all my boarding passes, we filed tax jointly for 3 years now, we have joint account, we have car insurances with both our name on it. My questions is If I'll file for US citizenship would my location be a problem since I keep moving due to my job? I'm a nurse anyway... and Where should I file my N-400 in California or here in Texas?

Thanks, any input is highly appreciated...

Are you notifying USCIS of your constant moving around, or do they think your mailing address is in California? If, as far as they know, you live in California, then send your application to the USCIS lockbox that handles California. Once your application clears the National Benefits Center, it will be sent to the field office that serves your area in California and you'll get your fingerprint and interview appointments in your area of California as well.

As you probably know, you have to have lived for at least 3 months in the USCIS where you are applying before you can apply for citizenship.
