This is my first post here, and Visajourney members help a lot in easing my frustration and disappointment and I want to share a short story of my experience regarding Visa approval and delivery times.

My wife was interviewed last Dec. 19, 2013. Upon hearing those words approved by my wife over the phone right after she went out of the embassy! My wife told me the american CO only ask her 2 question. yay! It was one of the happiest moment in my life Feeling excited, knowing she and my son will celebrate new year with me here in U.S..

I check the visa status in CEAC status right away and it says Visa Issued! wow! Im expecting visa to be delivered by Dec. 26, and the soonest is Dec. 27. but I was just day dreaming after all, :(((. December 25 evening and it was Dec 26, afternoon in the Phil, I called my wife to call 2Go to verify if they already have my wife's visa, but they said they don't have it. So I started taking this frustrations looking for answers here in VJ, and the first thing I read made more disappointed because Apple21 who has the same visa category and interview date as my wife had already received her visa from 2Go based on her timeline. I send Apple 21 a message, and she replied quickly with helpful answers.

Dec. 26, morning U.S. time I was eager and excited I check my wife's visa status again in CEAC, but to my surprise and shock! (Not knowing anything yet about the accuracy of CEAC website) the status turned to "READY" again! and it almost turned all my nerves to explode!(a bit exaggerating ok hehe) I started panicking and I even called the NVC hotline and they said everything is forwarded to U.S. Embassy in manila and they can't provide me anymore with answer. So what I did is I further my search for answers and scenario here in VJ, and as I read some of the experience of the members here from visa approval to delivery it kinda help me understand a lot specially when it comes to Visa delivery that its not the same with everybody.

I called U.S. embassy in Manila the morning of Dec. 27, and they said that its still in process and call them again by Jan.2 the following week(year)! WOW! Spending my whole holiday season with Anxiety and worries. So Jan. 2, 2014 comes and thats thursday, nearing weekend again, I called USEM manila and they said its still in process and they said to call again next week??? What d!!!@#$@#$ A lot of questions and anxiety with no answers! I didn't stop bugging them until Jan. 9, and they said they're done printing the visa and ready for delivery after 2 days for clearing to be forwarded to 2Go, upon hearing those words…I finally got a goodnight sleep the night of Jan.8 here in U.S. hahaha I hope my experience helps other members with upcoming same scenario.

Thanks VJ and VJ members for all the helpful information. More power to all of us here!
