So I just check the ceac website and it says ,,,,case in transit to the consular section 'can someone tell me what does this mean---also it says your interview date was provided by the nvc' do I still need to fill out the ds-230 and email it to the embassy?

This means it was shipped to kingston..it takes about 2-3 business dys for them to get it...so about tuesday to wednesday email them....provide your case number and name and ask them any question you would like...the system claims it takes 5 dys for a response but they normally respond within 2-3days.....good luck

I would also recommend to start checking the post office as often as you can starting the next 5 days or so as my packet 3 was sitting at the post office for 10 days without me knowing...

If I remember correctly once your able to see your case number saying ready Kingston has received your case, thats when you can email your ds230 for interview to be set

On the I129f your fiance had completed, your address should be there, thats the address they used... We had placed my mailing address and was suprise to see it at the post office even thou when I had emailed them with the ds230 asking for packet 3 and 4 to be send via email.... Guess it depends on where in ja you are as a friend of mine here on vj had her mail deliver to her home instead of going to the post office

OK guess I'll have to check the 1-129f to see which mailing address I choose...do u no if its possible I can call them and change the mailing address

Am not sure but you can maybe email kingston when your requesting the interview, do it asap as when I email them to request for the interview, the embassy had already mail out my packet 3 out
