I am confused about the following section of the I-864

post-140137-0-25222700-1388795113_thumb.jpg

Here is my situation:

I lived in Costa Rica in 2012 and did not make enough money to be required to file a tax return, I was also there for over 12 months. I hired an accountant and he clarified that I am not required to file a tax return for that year. Now what I must do is provide a letter stating the reason as to why I did not file a ax return for that year. I do have my tax returns for 2011, 2010m, and 2009; which would be my most recent tax return information. However, this is the part where I get confused. Should I check this box or is that specifically referring to the most resent tax years which would then be 2012, 2011, and 2010 making it N/A for my situation since my most resent tax return would be 2011?

This part also ties in with my previous question

In may case did I fill out 13.a correctly or should I put 2011 as the year?

Thanks for the help, as always it is greatly appreciated.
