Worried our petition approval will expired on january 19,2014 and i just paid visa fee yesterday. tried to set an

appointment for interview but it says there is no available date.... please help!! thanks in advance!!

Petitions are automatically extended when you are at the embassy waiting for an interview.

do i need to pay another after that said date if thers still no available date?tnx again!!

no. you do not need to pay again.

the receipt validity just means how much time you can use that specific receipt number to make a payment. if you dont pay the MRV fee before the receipt expires, you have to print a new receipt with a new number

Embassy will automatically extend the petition for up to a year, 4 months at a time. Relax all will be fine.

Things have really gotten backed up at the embassy because of the typhoon, those affected have been given priority for interview dates.
