Anyone have issues getting into US Embassy Manila today 12/4

just wanted to know if anyone had interview or had to go to US Embassy Manila today. My fiancee had to go back to get her daughters finger prints again and was told could not enter as closed. I know not a holiday so very confused. Thanks and God bless.

- 5/513 - NOA1 received by email - 10/16/13 - NOA2 received in mail - US Embassy Manila Interviews Passed 11/13/13 - 3/4/14 Mailed AOS packet - 4/15/14 Biometrics complete

I was originally scheduled to be interviewed today Dec04 however I was advised via phone call that. I was re-scheduled Dec 06 because the embassy will be closed today. I have confirmed this by calling the embassy the next day.

08-12-2013 Packet Received

08-15-2013 Check Encashed

08-16-2013 Alien registration number changed

08-19-2013 NOA1 hard copy received

09-03-2013 NOA2 Approval - Email Notification Received

09-05-2013 NOA2 Hard Copy Received

10-16-2013 MNL Case Number Received/ NVC received

10-21-2013 Left NVC

10-22-2013 Consulate Received

11-09-2013 Embassy Letter Received

11-18-2013 Medical at St. Luke's

12-06-2013 Embassy Interview - Approved

12-13-2013 Visa Issued

12-18-2013 Visa Received<p>
01-30-2013 Arrived in US
03-23-2014 Got Married
04-29-2014 Sent i-485 package via USPS ( with i-131 & i-765 )
05-14-2014 USPS returned our package ( the package was a mess, poor service from USPS priority 2-day mail service)
05-14-2014 Resent our package this time via UPS
05-16-2014 Chicago Lockbox Acceptance/ Biometric Fee check encashed
05-21-2014 Email and Text Confirmation received
05-23-2014 AOS Filling Fee encashed

07-30-2014 EAD/Advance Parole Approved

08-08-2014 EAD/Advance Parole Combo Card Received

When I called the embassy today someone answered the phone. Maybe only the customer service reps reported for work. Don't know why they're close today.

I'm not sure if this was the reason but the US Embassy Facebook account says today was day 2 of the LEAD ASEAN Youth Summit that was organized by the USEM. It runs until tomorrow, Dec. 5th

Thank you everyone. I was very confused because I called and spoke to them as well. I just talked to my fiancee and she ended up going back to the embassy and after talking with another guard who agreed to let her in, got her daughters finger prints and now their visa status online has been updated. He explained to her limited access that day. Thank you again.
